I grew up in Northern Italy where I developed as a textile designer working for Diesel and collaborating with many of its internal departments such as apparel, living and helmets.
At Diesel I had the opportunity to expand my cultural baggage/knowledge and skill set, experimenting with a variety of different medias in the creation of concepts and illustrations. These included the use of pure lo-fi, watercolour and both analog and digital photography.
Pure illustration contaminated by the use of other techniques is one of the focal points that defines me as a professional. I had the ability to absorbed the spirit and attitude of the brand and communicate its DNA through my artwork. The communication was made smooth and natural by working with silhouettes, ranging through a variety of different worlds, lifestyles and ages and taking the concept of originality and credibility of each piece of garment to the extreme without overlooking modernity.
“Imagine an eye unruled by man-made laws of perspective, an eye unprejudiced by compositional logic, an eye which does not respond to the name of everything but which must know each object encountered in life through an adventure of perception.“
